
Justin and Katie Lawson
Senior Pastor
Justin and Katie have served as the Lead Pastors of Searcy First Assembly since April 2025. Pastor Justin is bi-vocational , working full-time as a Bank President for Centennial Bank here in Searcy. Before becoming Senior Pastors, Justin and Katie served part-time as Music Pastors starting in 1998, leading with a blend of traditional and contemporary worship. Justin holds an M.A. in Practical Theology from Oral Roberts University, is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and assists with the preaching responsibilities for the services as needed. Justin and Katie have been married since 1999, and have three children, Isaiah (Hannah), Grant, and Abby.

Mark and Brook Ferren
Executive Pastor
Pastor Mark Ferren serves as the Executive Pastor, overseeing the day to day needs of the church and the congregation. Mark and Brook Ferren previously served as the Outreach/Care Pastors for First Assembly. The couple, married since 1990, have three children and have been on staff since 1997.
The talented couple is responsible for the construction of The Living Nativity and many other artistic endeavors for various churches and camps. Pastor Mark leads in outreach to the community and care of the members of the church. He heads up the "Care Ministry", which visits and takes care of shut ins, visits the hospitals, etc. He has a background in children’s evangelism, having ministered at Kid’s Camps in several states. Mark and Brook served as children's pastors at Searcy First Assembly for years, using puppets, object lessons, story-telling and crazy lovable characters, such as “Cletus” and the dummy, “Otis”.

Lane and KAtie Vinson
Youth Pastors
Lane & Katie are the student pastors at SFA YTH Group. They are passionate about reaching students and making disciples that will reach their high school & junior high campuses. Their vision is to see every student burning with a passion for Jesus, believing that EVERY student has the potential to be a WORLD CHANGING believer! They have served as student pastors since 2023.

Rachelle and Brian Mize
Children's Pastors
Rachelle serves as the part time Kid's Pastor at Searcy First Assembly. She leads "Kids Church", believing that we're never too young to learn about an worship our Lord! Their heart is for our SFA kids, and they serve with a dedication to teaching God’s Word, and a passion for seeing the next generation grow in their faith.

Jason and Anita Sutton
Young Adult Pastors
Jason and Anita are the college student pastors of 101 Young Adults Ministry. Their passion is to see every Young Adult build a relationship with Christ that will last throughout their life.
Jason and Anita have been married since 2003 and have 2 children Hayden and Laila. They have previously been the student pastors at Searcy First Assembly from 2012 – 2018, and have served as the Young Adult Pastors since July 2018.

Jeremy and Heather Smith
Counseling Pastors
Jeremy and Heather are the newest addition to the Searcy First Assembly Staff, joining us in 2024. Jeremy is a licensed counselor, and offers professional counseling with a Biblical worldview. Their heart is to offer a safe space for individuals and families to share their struggles, find healing, and grow in their faith.
